I bought a pair of Sketchers safety toe boots and within two and a half months they are coming apart in the toes. Not only that but they are about the most uncomfortable shoes ever.

Where the safety toe cap meets the shoe inside rubs and causes blisters on my feet. I can't believe how awful these shoes are. And they cost $98 and are about worthless to me now.

I tried contacting Sketchers about it online but they said if the shoes are over 45 days old it's tough luck - that's the length of their warranty.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $98.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Location: Auburn, Washington

Bought a pair of sketchers for 72.00 after discount and the toe is already ripping. I've worn sketchers for years and this is unacceptable = the shoes are only 2 1/2 months old - Guess I need to find a new go to company - very shameful

Re: Sketchers......Just noticed the whole sole on my left shoe has come apart and after reading these comments I guess I'm out luck since it's past 45 days. I paid a lot for these shoes and guess Sketchers won't be my go to shoe anymore. Other better quality that are worth my money.

This is a ridiculous policy - defects in manufacturing should be covered under warranty. Shoes should last years not months.

i bought some skechers trainers and the toes are coming unstitched after a short period of careful use. Reading that they only give 45 days warranty is upsetting as these trainers cost ยฃ59 - guess i'll have to stitch them properly myself, which is something the factory workers need to learn how to do themselves

Great Blog! Thank you for sharing the wonderful information about the Skechers SK77180 Bulklin Composite Breathable Metal Free Safety Trainer Airside

I have had the same issues with my new shoes. They are the Sketchers Go Run and they are expensive.

They are coming apart where the toe inside is tearing through the outside. I will never spend that much money again there.

I have not had them but a few months. Crazy!!

It is like my shoes; I bout my shoes about two months ago but are torn

I purchased a pair of work shoes and one came apart at the toes. Poorly made product, wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

I have the exact same problem, VERY DISAPPOINTED

Another pissed skechers customer. My husband is a farmer and he wore the steel toe boots for a few months and they're separating.

Yes, I too bought Sketchers Sneakers...very expensive as I thought if I paid more for Sketchers I would get quality. After two weeks the whole sole of the sneakers came off.

Sketchers ignored me, then responded that I must be wrong telling me of their quality. They signed it "Sincerely" instead of the employee name as they knew they were sticking it to me and stealing my money for garbage they manufacture in China.

The exact same thing happened to my daughter as she walked home from the bus stop. Literally the sole and shoe separated. I have always bought their shoes but am now purchasing Timberland shoes and boots and never will I ever buy their crap collection

I do not know how scketcher stays in business throwing out what should be awesome tennis shoes. Outside and in are great shape, the soles of the shoes are literally falling apart.

I wish I could post a picture of the poor Craftsmanship.

Low quality for the money spent. Disappointing!

Bought some Sketchers shoes back in April and now August the threading on the outside of the shoe is coming apart. Went to the Sketchers store today and they said the warranty is only 45 days after purchase and I'm out of luck. I won't be buying any more shoes from that company anymore.

Guest

Had them 8 months started separating at the heel from the sole. Just broke them in. Terrible boot

Guest

Bought Skechers women's walk revolut. Charcoal grey with pink laces .

Shoe worn In Just 3 months.

Poor quality waste of money. Better to buy indian brands , cheaper, more comfortable and lasts at least an year

Guest

Will need ever buy this. It started tear inside after 3 weeks.

They said it common and won't be able to exchange them or refund.

Stuff didn't even know how long warranty is. Crap manufacturer and more crappier quality

Guest

HAVE SIMILAR PROBLEM. PAST ANY 45 DAY WARRANTY BUT TOPS AND BOTTOMS LOOK NEW HOWEVER TOP PART SEAM WAS BAD AND CAME LOOSE NOW HAVE BIG GAP BETWEEN TWO AREAS. PISSED X 2

Guest

I know it's an old post but that sucks. Back in the day they lifetime warranted a pair of their shoes I had that the soles separated on and replaced them with brand new ones no questions asked.

Seems like most companies are moving away from that sort of customer service.

The "new" Alpinestars and Arnette are my favorite examples of companies I won't going out of my way to buy from anytime soon. Jansport is still awesome and (up until recently anyway) will still either replace or rebuild your backpack if it wears out/falls apart.

I agree. I have some boots from them (model 62392) and the soles are coming unglued from the tops.

*** build. I'll never buy another pair from them again unless the replace them for free so I get some real use for my money.
