I purchased a pair of your shoes today before work and slipped my whole 8 hour shift ! SN: 7722W COLOR: BLK SIZE 7 1/2. IVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH YOUR SHOES !! YOU NEED TO LOOK INTO THESE SHOES BECAUSE THEY ARE DANGEROUS !!!

Verified Reviewer |Several holes inside the shoes after 4 months
I used my shoes on a normal basis (walking to/from work, casual walks in the park). It is the perfect size and was very comfortable at the beginning, until around 08/10, when *** appeared inside of the heel of the left pair. A few days later, a similar hole appeared on the heel of the right pair. A few days later, another hole appeared, this time inside the front of the left pair. Finally, today the same hole, but on the inside of the right pair.
These holes just make wearing the shoes a nightmare, my toes literally hurt because there is no material at the front to hold them in place. At this point, I am no longer able to wear the shoe at all. I am greatly disappointed that after a perfectly normal 4 month use and proper care (purchased cleaning set with the shoes, it's on the receipt) the material just gives up and lets me down. This is way below my high quality expectations of Skechers.
Sent my complaint to Customer Care, who did not get back to me after 2+ weeks. Only after repeatedly contacting them and finding the same random Chat operator by luck was I able to move my case forward.
Apparently I have to mail my defective items back to them - non refundable ! - and they will examine it and exchange for a new item if applicable.
Just to compare, 5.11 Tactical exchanged my defective items without question after a quick photo examination.

I received a pair of shoes that were defective. My return was accepted after submitting details and photos but due to an awful policy by sketchers I would need to provide proof that I I cut up the shoes or return them to the company.
After expressing my frustration of this policy, I sent the shoes back. It has now been a month since I have received confirmation of the returned shoes and I still have not received a code to order a replacement pair. I have called customer service twice as well as emailing the supervisor. I have not received a response.
I feel as I am now being ignored by this company and feel as my money has been stolen by this company since my return was approved. This is no longer about a 30 dollar pair of shoes but rather the principle of how customers are being treated.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. They sent an email asking for information, proof of damage and to send them the damaged product. They just told me they will be sending a replacement new ones.
At this point, Customer Satisfaction contacted me and instructed me to send the shoes to their office. They said they will review them and let me know if they will exchange them.
This was just one week ago. Still waiting for the answer.
Terrible management service, if you walk out the store with them you are on your own! I bought my shoes at Skechers -Chula Vista, CA, mall. Eight days after, an issue with the heel counter manifested: it bended inwards. I headed to a Sketchers store in El Centro, Ca, and exposed the issue and, the first thing they ask you: did you keep the original BOX!!??
Be honest: how many original shoeboxes do you keep after purchasing them?
After a heated exchange of words with the manager of Skechers store at El Centro, CA, he told me that in the website it says that you MUST keep the original box for 45 days! Even so, once you walk out of the store with them, they are considered used and not exchangeable!
I have used that brand for a long time but I am switching back to New Balance (reason being that they are the only ones who have extra wide sizes) And now you know!
