Skechers - Sole of shoe coming off
I bought these shoes around Thanksgiving 2015. Not even a month later I noticed a couple of places where the sole came loose on the left shoe.
Slowly but surely more of those little pieces started coming off. Now the beginning of May most of the sole is hanging loose. This is pretty disappointing since the shoes cost over $60.00, and sad because it's a very cute shoe. For that price I expect the shoes to last.
And it's only on the left shoe.
I've worn the right one just as much. :-) I wish I had kept the receipt to show when I bought them, but I didn't, so there may not be much that can be done at this point, other than letting you know of this issue.
Reason of review: Bad quality.

He tenido varios zapatos de la marca Sketchers sin problema alguno pero me regalaron un par de zapatillas deportivas y sin apenas usarlas comenzaron ambas suelas a despegarse por todas partes. No me honraron la garantรญa en la tienda y he tenido que usar "Krazy Glue" y tratar de repararlas para poder continuar usรกndolas. Pobre control de calidad...
We also have numerous pairs that my husband wears and never fails, within 2-4 months one shoe has the sole fall off. Not buying again
I have bought 4 different pair this year, the last two seemingly brand new off of ebay, and they all have fallen apart within a day of wearing them. The soles crumble up and they come off from the shoe.
I have FOUR pair that I stocked up on, come apart, the part between the shoe and sole literally disintegrate then the sole fell off before being worn more than a couple hours. And not heavy wear, walked to the end of short driveway and went grocery shopping.
My entire sole of both shoes has separated on both side....ugh
I am having the same problem with my husbands steel toe sneakers.
same thing happened to mine only right shoe had only worn them a week....... very disappointing
I have 6 pairs of these useless shoes and the same thing is happening.. SKETCHERS is no help..
The soles came off my Skechers shape ups after worn twice. Understand from Skechers they sat in the box too long
i bought identical skecher sneakers and my left shoe also has rubber sole pieces coming off the bottom...paid 60$ and only worn them 2 weeks......poor quality glue????????
The pair you have complaint about is probably made in China. Sketchers buy them cheap and suppliers cut costs by using less glue or using cheaper substitute.
You can try to try them by using water proofed contact cement or instant glue made for shoe repairs.
Well known brands are faked.
So when I went to China Fujian city of Jinjiang and bought a high end local brand with leather uppers and molded soles for only US $45 last year. So far no complaints and very comfy too.
Hi, the same just happened to me. Bought a pair of white Skechers d'lites and after only wearing them 4 times part of the sole of the right shoe came off.
Glued it, but two times wearing them again the same parts of the sole on the left shoe came off. Also some of the material on the inner side of the left shoes was in shreds after only wearing the shoes about 6-7 times!!!!
I have lots of skechers and particularily d'lites and none of them falls apart, not even after several years of wear. I will contact Skechers directly to find out, if they are fakes.....
I pulled up the images of the Sketchers shoes at Amazon and first thing i noticed was that there were no stitches through the soles - only held on by glue which often comes loose after some wear. Without reading any reviews i decided against buying Sketchers as I've had plenty of past experience with shoes that use only glue to hold the soles on.
These are coming apart during the first time wearing them and the soles are literally crumbling apart and falling off even before the whole thing comes lose, they need to get it together and get selling these until the company fixes them.
