To whom it may concern, Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of purchasing Skecher products at DXL and have been very satisfied with your product. So when I found out that one of your stores is located around the corner from my office at 509 5th.

Ave in NYC, I decided to check it out instead of going out of my way to the DXL store in lower Manhattan. After a few minutes of walking around the store and not seeing my size and no sales staff approaching me, I decided to ask for help. I asked one of the gentleman if they carry size 16 and I guess he felt he had an audience and responded loud enough for customers to hear as well as his fellow employees, he said “No but we have 2 size 8s”. At which time, the staff and some customers laughed.

I myself did not find that amusing and was quite embarrassed to say the least. I felt like that child that used to get teased when I was younger for having big feet. I looked at him with disgust and left the store without saying a word. This is the total opposite of how I get treated at DXL.

Every time I pass this store now I’m reminded of this incident.

I feel that your staff should be there to service customers instead of humiliating them. Thank you for your time, Stuart Kelly
